The Backup function is used to make a backup of your data files. To access the Backup menu, select the menu option entitled Backup.
The Backup menu is shown below:
To access the Backup Company Data window, select the menu option entitled Backup Company Data on the Backup Menu.
The Backup Company Data window will be displayed as follows:
Enter or edit the information on the System Settings window according to the following specifications:
Company Data
This is the location of the company data files on the computer system. This field is controlled by the system.
Select target location and file for backup
If the target is known, the user may type it in. To display a browse box to find the target, press Enter, or click on the Lookup button.
To perform the Backup and exit the Backup Company Data window, click on the Backup Company Data button, or press “Alt B”. To exit the Backup Company Data window without performing the backup, click on the Cancel button, press “Alt C”, press Esc, or click on the “X” in the upper right corner of the screen.
NOTE: After creating the file you must burn it to a CD, or copy it to an External Hard Drive or a Memory Stick.
