Producers Expirations Tab

The Fiber System provides you a comprehensive way of recording and reporting pertinent insurance information on producers including the policy expiration date.   Examples of Insurance Masters are shown below:

Automobile

General Liability

Worker’s Compensation

 

To access the Producer Expirations tab, click on the Expirations tab, or press “Alt I”.

 

The Producer Expirations list window will be displayed as follows:

 

To save and exit the Producer window, press Page Down, click on the OK button, or press “Alt O”.   To exit without saving the Producer window, click on the Cancel button, press “Alt C”, press Esc, or click on the “X” in the upper right corner of the screen.

 

To access online help, click on the Help button, press “Alt H”, or press F1.

 

Expirations Maintenance

To add a new Insurance code, click on the Add button, press “Alt A”, or press the Insert key.

 

To edit an existing Insurance code, highlight the desired record and click on the Edit button, press “Alt E”, or press Enter.  

 

To delete an Insurance code, highlight the desired record and click on the Delete button, press “Alt D”, or press the Delete key.

 

When you add or edit an Insurance code, the system will display the Insurance Policy window as follows:

 

Enter or edit the information on the Insurance Policy window according to the following specifications:

 

Code

The code is a three-character field used to identify the Insurance within the system.  You are not allowed to Enter duplicate Insurance codes.  To display a selection list of the valid codes, press Enter, or click on the Lookup button.  

 

Expiration Date

Enter the expiration date of the insurance policy.

 

Policy Number

Enter up to a twenty-character insurance policy number.  An entry in this field is optional.

 

Carrier

Enter up to thirty-character name for the insurance carrier.  An entry in this field is optional.

 

Agent

Enter up to a thirty-character name for the insurance agent.  An entry in this field is optional.

 

Phone

Enter the insurance agent’s telephone number.

 

To save and exit the Insurance Policy window, press Page Down, click on the OK button, or press “Alt O”.   To exit without saving the Insurance Policy window, click on the Cancel button, press “Alt C”, press Esc, or click on the “X” in the upper right corner of the screen.  You should save this window before attempting to Enter or edit the Insurance Policy Limit information for the insurance types.

 

To access online help, click on the Help button, press “Alt H”, or press F1.

 

Liability Limit Maintenance

To add a new Liability Limit, click on the Add button, press “Alt A”, or press the Insert key.

 

To edit an existing Liability Limit, highlight the desired record and click on the Edit button, press “Alt E”, or press Enter.  

 

To delete an existing Liability Limit, highlight the record and click on the Delete button, press “Alt D”, or press the Delete key.

 

When you add or edit a Liability Limit, the system will display the following window:

 

Enter or edit the information on the Insurance Liability Limit window according to the following specifications:

 

Type

The code is a three-character field used to identify the insurance type within the system.  To display a selection list of the valid types, press Enter, or click on the Lookup button.  You are not allowed to enter duplicate insurance types.  

 

Limit

Enter the liability limit (the maximum coverage available) for the insurance type.  This limit should be entered as a whole dollar (no decimal positions).  For some insurance types, such as workman's compensation, a liability limit is not applicable.  In such instances, leave the default liability limit field blank.

 

To save and exit the Insurance Liability Limit window, press Page Down, click on the OK button, or press “Alt O”.   To exit without saving the Insurance Liability Limit window, click on the Cancel button, press “Alt C”, press Esc, or click on the “X” in the upper right corner of the screen.
