Customers Settings Tab

The Customer’s Settings window contains information specific to the customer.  These settings determine how the system processes transactions for the customer.  To access the Customer’s Settings window, click on the Settings tab, or press “Alt S”.

 

The system will display the Customer’s Settings window as follows:

 

Enter or edit the information on the Customer Settings window according to the following specifications:

 

A/R Base Account Number

This field is required and defaults to the A/R Base Account assigned in the Fiber Procurement System Control file.  Accept the default account number, or override it with another account number.  To display a selection list of the valid general ledger accounts, press Enter, or click on the Lookup button.

 

Division Number

If applicable, enter the division assigned to the account receivable account.  The division number field is not displayed if the company does not use divisions.  To display a selection list of the valid divisions, press Enter, or click on the Lookup button.

 

Comments

Enter up to ninety-characters of miscellaneous comments or notes regarding the customer.  An entry in this field is optional.

 

Last Payment Date

The last payment date field is maintained by system and displays the last date that you received a payment from the customer.

 

Last Payment Amount

The last payment amount field is maintained by system and displays the last payment amount that you received from the customer.

 

Last Payment Check Number

The last payment check number field is maintained by system and displays the check number of the last payment that you received from the customer.

 

Interface Vendor Code

 

 

Year-To-Date Purchases

The year-to-date purchases field is maintained by system and displays the year-to-date purchases made by the customer.

 

Year-To-Date Payments

The year-to-date payments field is maintained by system and displays the year-to-date payments made by the customer.

 

Prior Year Purchases

The prior year purchases field is maintained by system and displays the prior year purchases made by the customer.

 

Prior Year Payments

The prior year payments field is maintained by system and displays the prior year payments made by the customer.

 

To save and exit the Customer window, press Page Down, click on the OK button, or press “Alt O”.   To exit without saving the Customer window, click on the Cancel button, press “Alt C”, press Esc, or click on the “X” in the upper right corner of the screen.

 

To access online help, click on the Help button, press “Alt H”, or press F1.
