Stick Scale Tables allow you to enter the diameter and length for a log and the system calculates the volume based on volumes in the table.
To access the Stick Scale Tables List window, select the menu option entitled Stick Scale Tables on the Fiber Procurement Control Files Menu.
The Stick Scale Table List window, will be displayed as follows:
The system defaults to displaying only the active Stick Scale Tables. To display the inactive, or both the active and inactive Stick Scale Tables, click on the drop-down box arrow located at the upper right corner of the window.
Cycle Box
To remain in the add mode without returning to the Stick Scale Table list window each time you add a new Stick Scale Table, check the cycle box. To enter a check in the box, click on the Cycle box, press “Alt Y”, or press the Space Bar when the selection box is positioned over the “cycle” field. You would normally check the cycle box if you are entering more than one Stick Scale Table during the current session.
To access online help, click on the Help button, press “Alt H”, or F1.
To exit the Stick Scale Table list window, click on Close button, press “Alt O”, or press the Esc key.
Stick Scale Table Maintenance
To add a new Stick Scale Table, click on the Add button, press “Alt A”, or press the Insert key.
To edit an existing Stick Scale Table, highlight the Stick Scale Table and click on the Edit button, press “Alt E”, or press Enter.
When you add a new Stick Scale Table, the system will display the Stick Scale Table Information window as follows:
Enter or edit the information on the Stick Scale Table Information window according to the following specifications:
Stick Scale Table Code
The Stick Scale Table code field is used to identify the Stick Scale Table within the system. The field is two-characters in length. The system does not allow the use of duplicate Stick Scale Table codes
Stick Scale Table Description
Enter up to thirty-characters to describe the Stick Scale Table.
Cycle Box
To remain in the add mode without returning to the Stick Scale Table list window each time you add a new Stick Scale Info., check the cycle box. To enter a check in the box, click on the Cycle box, press “Alt Y”, or press the Space Bar when the selection box is positioned over the “cycle” field. You would normally check the cycle box if you are entering more than one Stick Scale Info. during the current session.
Status
Select the active box if the Stick Scale Table is active, or select the inactive box if the Stick Scale Table is not active. The system defaults to displaying only the active Stick Scale Tables on the selection list.
To save and exit the Stick Scale Table window, press Page Down, click on the OK button, or press “Alt O”. To exit without saving the Stick Scale Table, click on the Cancel button, press “Alt C”, press Esc, or click on the “X” in the upper right corner of the screen.

Stick Scale Table Information Maintenance
To add new Stick Scale Information, click on the Add button, press “Alt A”, or press the Insert key.
To edit existing Stick Scale Information, highlight the Stick Scale Information and click on the Edit button, press “Alt E”, or press Enter.
To delete Stick Scale Information, highlight the Stick Scale Information and click on the Delete button, press “Alt D”, or press the Delete key.
When you add new Stick Scale Information, the system will display the Stick Scale Information window as follows:
Enter or edit the information on the Stick Scale Table Information window according to the following specifications:
Length
Enter the length of the log. The field is three-digits in length and is required.
Diameter
Enter the diameter of the log. The field is three-digits in length and is required.
Volume
Enter the volume for the previously entered length and diameter.
To save and exit the Stick Scale Table window, press Page Down, click on the OK button, or press “Alt O”. To exit without saving the Stick Scale Table, click on the Cancel button, press “Alt C”, press Esc, or click on the “X” in the upper right corner of the screen.
